		<description>The main issues with product feeds are that the product pages that they produce tend to be duplicate content as a number of other sites will have the same information. This is why some people like working with CSV as they are easy to modify in Excel. 

Unless you know how to build something that will automatically spin text and rewrite content your site being powered by an API is going to be identical in content to everyone elses (if Google even sees the content on your site!). This means that you either have to write loads of fresh content around the product feed content or, like i said, automate content rewriting.

Not sure how relevant this is but thought it was worth mentioning to stop people thinking &quot;If I integrate an API then my site will be the best&quot;.</description>
